- Medically exempt from fasting – £4.00 per day.
- Ramadan Humanitarian Relief – feeding one hungry person two meals or feeding two poor people a one-time meal for each day of a missed fast.
- Donations are used to purchase food, rather than being given as cash directly to the poor, to ensure the spiritual obligation is met.
- The donation must cover the cost of feeding 60 people for each missed day or intentional broken fast (approx. £300 in the UK in 2025/2026, or £5 per person).
- Donating (Riba) – is spent on the public interest projects such as Education and or on charitable causes such as sanitisation (toilets and infrastructure).
